step by step registration instructions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>SISLER HIGH SCHOOL CREATIVE INDUSTRY\u00a0COURSES<\/h1>\n<p>Here are some tips when you are registering online:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select \u2018Sisler\u2019 as school first,<\/li>\n<li>All IDM course with \u201cDM\u201d codes can be easily found under the Vocational category<\/li>\n<li>All ICT classes are split into 2 half credit codes. \u00a0Students must select both.<\/li>\n<li>ICT classes may be found under Computer Science or \u201cNA\u201d for Non-Academic<\/li>\n<li>GRAR courses may be under \u201cIndustrial Arts\u201d or \u201cNA\u201d<\/li>\n<li>You can also find your desired course by grade level.<\/li>\n<li>If you cannot find the course, consult\u00a0an IDM, ICT, or Graphic teacher in rooms 17, 57, 58, or 59<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Grade 9<\/h2>\n<p><strong>DM093V15S\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Exploration of Interactive Digital Media<br \/>\n<strong>GRAH15S \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Graphic Design<\/p>\n<h2>Grade 10<\/h2>\n<p><strong>DPHR25S\/DFHR25S \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0Introduction to Digital Film (ICT \u2013 please select half credits: Digital Pictures &amp; These must be accepted in order to proceed.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Select the \u201cPreregistration\u201d tab.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Select \u201cAcademic Year\u201d (2017-2018) and \u201cSchool\u201d (Sisler).<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Select the applicable \u201cProgram\u201d. English students will leave this area blank. French Immersion students will select French Immersion.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Click on \u201cAdd Preregistration\u201d.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Select \u201cPreregistration School\u201d (Sisler) and \u201cGraduation Diploma\u201d (either English or French Immersion).<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Students may view courses they have already taken and courses still required for graduation in the \u201cGrad Course Requirement and Course History\u201d tab.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Select compulsory courses from the \u201cRequired Courses\u201d list. Course descriptions can be found by selecting the \u201cCourse Description\u201d box. Rembember, many courses have prerequisites that need to be met. Please note these as listed in the course descriptions. If you do not see the course you want to take listed in the drop-down box, it may be because you do not have the prerequisite.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Select \u201cAdd Course Requests\u201d.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Once all of your required courses have been selected, begin selecting your optional courses. Be sure to prioritize your selections from 1-8 under the \u201cStudent Priority\u201d tab. You must select 8 options, numbered from 1-8 even if you do not require that many. After each optional course selection, click on \u201cAdd\u201d to save your request.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">Once you have completed selecting 8 optional courses, review all of your choices keeping in mind grad course requirements and your course history. If you are happy with your choices, select \u201cFinalize Preregistration\u201d. A reminder window will appear warning you that no changes can be made after you click the \u201cFinalize\u201d button.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ms-rteFontFace-5 ms-rteFontSize-3\">This last click will submit your application to Sisler. Again, no changes can be made online once finalized. Be sure your parent or guardian sees your selections prior to clicking the \u201cFinalize\u201d button. If they disagree with your choices after the \u201cFinalize\u201d button\u00a0has\u00a0been\u00a0clicked, then changes can only be made with a Counsellor. To view your finalized application, select the \u201cReport\u201d tab at the top of the page.
