He has garnered an impressive list of credits and accolades as Animation Director in his 14-year career, including winning a VES award for his work on the digital character Thanos in \u201cAvengers: Infinity War.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Head of Animation, Phil oversees the department, pushing the boundaries of what\u2019s possible in visual effects and animation. His methodology is to consistently refine the process which streamlines the overall pipeline, ultimately creating a more effective workflow. Phil has supervised animation on multiple blockbuster feature films including \u201cEnder\u2019s Game,\u201d \u201cX-Men: Days of Future Past,\u201d \u201cDeadpool\u201d, \u201cSpider-Man: Homecoming\u201d and \u201cAvengers: Infinity War.\u201d Additionally, Phil led animation on James Cameron&#8217;s &#8220;Avatar.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recently, Phil completed work as Animation Director on Marvel Studio\u2019s hugely successful \u201cAvengers: Endgame.\u201d Phil is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Visual Effects Society. He holds a B.F.A. degree from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco which recognized him with an Emerging Artist &amp; Outstanding Alumni Award.
