{"id":6896,"date":"2015-06-20T19:36:01","date_gmt":"2015-06-21T00:36:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sisleridm.com\/?p=471"},"modified":"2015-06-20T19:36:01","modified_gmt":"2015-06-21T00:36:01","slug":"articulation-between-vfs-sisler-high-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sislercreate.com\/Animation\/2015\/06\/20\/articulation-between-vfs-sisler-high-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Articulation between VFS &amp; Sisler High School"},"content":{"rendered":"<header class=\"entry-header\">\n<hr class=\"featurette-divider __before_content\" \/>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h2>ABOUT:<\/h2>\n<p>Vancouver Film School and Sisler High School have created a mutually beneficial collaborations, with an initial focus on developing and linking the Digital Media programs from Sisler High School with programs at Vancouver Film School (VFS) with a goal to expand to other Vancouver Film School undergraduate programs.<\/p>\n<h2>EXCELLENCE IN MEDIA ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP<\/h2>\n<p>Vancouver Film School has\u00a0set up two Media Excellence Entrance Scholarships to two students who meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student must be accepted (or has applied) into a VFS program before receiving scholarship,<\/li>\n<li>Student must apply for scholarship,<\/li>\n<li>Sisler staff to select the successful candidates,<\/li>\n<li>Student successfully completed a minimum of 8 courses from the Sisler Media Pathway,<\/li>\n<li>Student who has the highest average grade from the media courses from 9-12,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>VFS Excellence in Media Entrance Scholarship: Vancouver Film School will offer two entrance scholarships to a Sisler students. The scholarship will be for the amount of $3000 applied directly to the VFS tuition for the successful student within the academic year period.<\/p>\n<h2>MERIT\u00a0SCHOLARSHIPS\u00a0FOR\u00a0SISLER\u00a0STUDENTS:<\/h2>\n<p>Sisler High School and VFS has established\u00a0an educational media pathway scholarships applicable to the
