Another student from the Game Design cohort, Maribelle Jilani is creating a colourful rhythm game called “Banana Jam”!
Maribelle drew and animated everything in the game, and also created the music from scratch, showcasing a multitude of skills for the game. With different levels, enemies, and endings, “Banana Jam” will definitely be a game with high replayability.
Inspired by games like ‘Geometry Dash’ and ‘PaRappa the Rapper,’ Maribelle was driven to create something bright, colourful, and “nothing serious,” purely focused on creating something fun for players.
All of this comes with the support of Jeff Santos from CBC Kids and mentorship from Ubisoft Winnipeg.
