Articulation between VFS & Sisler High School

ABOUT:

Vancouver Film School and Sisler High School have created a mutually beneficial collaborations, with an initial focus on developing and linking the Digital Media programs from Sisler High School with programs at Vancouver Film School (VFS) with a goal to expand to other Vancouver Film School undergraduate programs.

EXCELLENCE IN MEDIA ENTRANCE SCHOLARSHIP

Vancouver Film School has set up two Media Excellence Entrance Scholarships to two students who meet the following criteria:

• Student must be accepted (or has applied) into a VFS program before receiving scholarship,
• Student must apply for scholarship,
• Sisler staff to select the successful candidates,
• Student successfully completed a minimum of 8 courses from the Sisler Media Pathway,
• Student who has the highest average grade from the media courses from 9-12,

VFS Excellence in Media Entrance Scholarship: Vancouver Film School will offer two entrance scholarships to a Sisler students. The scholarship will be for the amount of $3000 applied directly to the VFS tuition for the successful student within the academic year period.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SISLER STUDENTS:

Sisler High School and VFS has established an educational media pathway scholarships applicable to the students entering Vancouver Film School media programs.

• VFS 3D Animation & Visual Effects Program
• VFS Film Production Program
• VFS Sound Design for Visual Media Program
• VFS Writing for Film & Television Program

SISLER HIGH SCHOOL’S GAME DESIGN PATHWAY to:

• VFS Game Design Program
• VFS Programming for Games, Web & Mobile Program

SISLER HIGH SCHOOL’S ANIMATION PATHWAY to:

• VFS Animation Concept Art Program
• VFS 3D Animation & Visual Effects Program
• VFS Classical Animation Program

SISLER HIGH SCHOOL’S DIGITAL DESIGN PATHWAY to:

• VFS Digital Design Program
• VFS Foundation Visual Art & Design Program
