Story is Key!
On Thursday, September 24 at 5:00 pm (CST) Nickelodeon will partner with the Advanced Animation Students at Burbank High School to present an hour long Animation Skills Writing Workshop. The class, called “Writing Cartoons” will be taught by Rebeca Delgado, Writer on the hit Nickelodeon series The Casagrandes. All Sisler Create students are welcome to participate.

Rebeca Delgado, Staff Writer for The Casagrandes, simply breaks down (with beautiful visual aides) the essence of a story, reviews an outline for an 11-minute cartoon, discusses what it takes to write for animation, how to break in to the industry, and reminisces on her childhood/upbringing growing up as a Latina in LA.
