The Sisler CREATE’s Post-High Film Program End of Year Screening was a success!
Special thanks to IATSE 856 for their sponsorship of the event. We were joined by members of Manitoba’s film industry, including mentors for our students’ short film projects.
Congratulations to Sean Monfero, Van Cung Nung, and Gabriel Beso, who each received a $5,000 scholarship from IATSE 856, and Tristan Legaspi for receiving a scholarship of $2,000 from True North Sports + Entertainment!
We watched 3 episodes from the FibeTV1 miniseries Project Avenue, and 8 short films from the students. In the end, a Q&A with the students took place. Thanks to the Park Theatre for hosting the screening!
