This year, Sisler CREATE has enteredc 16 teams in the Skills Manitoba competition – 14 in animation and 2 in film.
The competition is designed to test skills required in trades and technology careers. The philosophy of the Skills Competition is to reward students for excellence, directly involve industry in evaluating student performance, and keep training programs relevant to employers’ needs.
The results will be released next week! Last year, an animation team from Sisler CREATE won Gold in Skills Manitobs, and the national Skills Canada competition.
