Story Plan:
=Story=
BEGINNING / FOCUS TO DAUGHTER
– Establishing shot: A lovely house is shown.
– The camera zooms in at the window, where Camellia is seen writing on her desk.
– The camera is panning, and stops at Camellia, still writing.
– She is seen writing on her diary, and her notes are shown.
– She looks at the pendant with a smile on her face, and walks up to her door.
– She peeks outside her room, and walks down to the hallway that’s leading to the living room.
– Camellia’s dad is seen sitting down on the couch, he has a very depressed expression on his face.
– Camellia tries to ask her dad to come with her to her mom’s grave but as she opened her mouth, she froze. She didn’t have the courage to ask him.
– She left her pendant on the couch beside her dad.
– She walks to the door, looks back at her dad and left their house alone.
– She is seen walking to the town.
– While walking around at the town, she saw happy kids with their family.
– She felt jealous about their connection, their happy family.
– She turns her head, and kept walking forward, leaving the town.
MIDDLE / FOCUS TO DAD
– Dad is still depressed on the couch, and can’t stop thinking about his recent lost ( hasn’t move on).
– A beam of light from the door’s little window, hits the pendant.
– The light reflects to the dad’s face ( a reason to notice the pendant ).
– He is blinded by the light, and notices the pendant left beside him.
– He takes the pendant, and looks at it.
– He notices their family picture, realizes that he missed his connection with his family, and it’s time to move on.
– He stands up, and went to his daughter’s room.
– He looks at her daughter’s room and it was empty. His daughter gone.
– He saw her diary open, and reads it.
– He rushes out her door, and the diary fell from his hand.
– The camera zooms in to the diary falling. The page was left on Camellia’s drawing/notes of how she misses her dad’s affection.
– The dad went out to town looking for his daughter ( he now realize that, he only have his daughter and he should take care of her, without her he’ll be all alone ).
ENDING / FOCUS TO BOTH
– The daughter is seen crossing on the bridge.
– She’s at the forest.
– While walking around the forest, she saw a flower bush ( camellia ) that caught her eye.
– She decided to get some for her mom – after she picked some camellias, she gets a flashback.
– Flashback: her mom is seen with Camellia under a tree. The mother made her daughter a flower crown made of camellias.
– Camellia is seen smiling, and it transitions to present her, where she is seen being lonely.
– She was so happy but now she’s sad
– Dad is still looking for his daughter, he’s tired and sweating
– Daughter reaches her destination, the grave of her mom.
– She stands for a while and kneel in front of her mom’s gravestone with the flower
– she gives the flower to her mom – she was down because she’s the only one who’s celebrating mom’s birthday
– pan a little to the side and see the father at the back
– sweating, tired but relief he found his daughter
– he join his daughter and try to talk to her
– but daughter is so happy she hug her dad – in the end , the pendant shine and the mom appear in the end.
THE PENDANT IS THE ONE WHO MADE THEM CONNECT AGAIN
THE PENDANT IS FROM THE DEAD MOM.
