CREATE and Wacom Host Earth Day Anijam April 21

The Earth Day Animation Jam, hosted by Sisler CREATE and Wacom, challenges artists and animators to create a three-second animation in just five hours.

On the morning of Thursday April 21 animators will be given a Key Drawing. Their animation must start and end with this image, which will be themed around Earth Day. Artists will submit their animations by 3:30pm the same day. All animators must come to Sisler to participate. Participants will be provided with computers, Wacom tablets, and Toon Boom Harmony software to complete their animation.  The jam will open with an inspiring Keynote talk and Q&A with Canadian Master Animator Nik Ranieri (bio below).

The Anijam will involve students from the Sisler CREATE program, young animators from other schools in the division and student animators from Toronto, Florida and Burbank, California.
